The Burning Dogma were born in 2011 in Bologna by musicians with previous experience in extreme metal  with the intent of contaminating a European-style Death metal with the essence of diametrically opposed genres such as Dark Wave, Electro Goth, Ebm.
The Dogma have released the ep "Cold Shade Burning" (2012), a full length "No Shores Of Hope" (2016), a further ep "Virago Shield" (2020) and in June 2025  a second full entitled "Over and Over One After the Other" taking advantage by some important new entries in the lineup such as Marcello Andreotti on lead guitars, Salvo Messina on vocals and Daniele Morini on bass duty.

In the past years the band has the chance to share stages with infamous acts as Cradle of Filth, Coroner, Asphyx, Anaal Nathrak, Fleshgod Apocalypse and others.
